Description
The Phlox flower, known for its vibrant and colorful blossoms, belongs to the Polemoniaceae family. It comes in various shades like pink, purple, white, and red. Though it's not a wildflower, this specimen was found in the Skunk-Foster State Natural Area in an area that was previously a location for a home's garden near the east end of Grenlie Lake. Opposite the open area is an apple tree. Orange Iris also grow in this garden area. It is still a beautiful sight to see mixed in with white counterparts.
