Description
The autumn air in rural Wisconsin carries the scent of harvested fields and the hum of tractor engines. One crisp October morning, I found myself on the backroads near Iola, drawn by the timeless rivalry between Farmall and John Deere working in the fields. As the golden leaves whispered tales of changing seasons, a vintage Farmall stood sentinel beside an autumn-draped tree line. This lone tractor spoke of a bygone era when small farms were tilled with passion. Its aged but resilient frame told stories of countless autumn rituals — preparing the soil for winter's embrace. Amidst the backdrop of fiery foliage, the Farmall embraced its role in the dance of time, a testament to the enduring beauty of farmland in autumn. There isn’t a better competition in rural Wisconsin than that of Farmall versus John Deere, ask any farmer. It’s not only in the field, but at thresherees and tractor pulls across the state.
