Artist's Description
As the January morning fog gently caressed the landscape around Iola, I embarked on a journey to capture the essence of Wisconsin’s winter beauty. Amidst the muted hues of grey and blue, I stumbled upon a Trout Creek Road farm. A barren tree stood sentinel, its silhouette against a concrete block silo with a metal cap, aged yet steadfast, peering out from behind the sloping hill. As I framed the scene, the backdrop of the greyish-blue woods added depth and contrast, highlighting the symbiotic relationship between nature and man. Through my lens, I sought to capture not just an image, but an emotion.
