The first snows of October fell upon Central Wisconsin in the morning of October 17 and gave a nice poweder white backdrop to the yet changing autumn foliage. This image was captured on Grenlie Lake at5 the Skunk-Foster State Natural Area near Scandinavia, Wisconsin. There was a driving wind but otherwise it was a peaceful morn shared with just one bow hunter.
After dedicating five decades to print publishing and photojournalism, primarily in newspapers, I've embarked on a captivating journey to capture the vibrancy of Wisconsin's nature and the enchanting beauty of its woodlands and prairies through the lens of fine art photography and paintography.
