In the warm embrace of a July afternoon, I stumbled upon the hidden gem near Big Falls, Wisconsin — an enchanting vintage barn. Its crimson hue stood proudly against the azure sky, a testament to the state's rich tradition of red barns. As I explored, I discovered the owner's passion for preserving the past: vintage vehicles, gas pumps, farm equipment, and old bicycles adorned the surroundings. The stone foundations, crafted by skilled local masons, showcased a timeless artistry sought after by farmers. In that moment, my lens captured not just a landscape, but a living testament to history, where each element told a story of craftsmanship and enduring beauty.

After dedicating five decades to print publishing and photojournalism, primarily in newspapers, I've embarked on a captivating journey to capture the vibrancy of Wisconsin's nature and the enchanting beauty of its woodlands and prairies through the lens of fine art photography and paintography. Through my work, I aim to narrate the stories of what I see and experience during my photographic endeavors.
