The Chapel in the Woods is one of two features at an historic 1855 grist mill known as The Red Mill in Waupaca Wisconsin. The other feature is a covered bridge. Ths is a favored spot for weddings along the Crystal River. The mill now boasts of a wonderful gift shop and has an eatery with great coffee, perfect for an autumn morning of walking about the grounds. The facility is in the process of restoring the water wheel for the mill. During the summer months, beautiful flowers bloom on the grounds.
After dedicating five decades to print publishing and photojournalism, primarily in newspapers, I've embarked on a captivating journey to capture the vibrancy of Wisconsin's nature and the enchanting beauty of its woodlands and prairies through the lens of fine art photography and paintography.
