The vibrant hues of fall adorned the landscape, painting a breathtaking picture. Overhead clouds added a touch of drama, while a gentle mist unveiled the foliage's rich colors. As I framed the shot, I couldn't ignore the silent storytellers — the skeletal limbs of a dead tree reaching skyward. A poignant contrast to the vibrant leaves, they whispered of the cyclical dance between life and decay. In that moment, behind the lens, I was narrating the eloquent tale of nature's perpetual metamorphosis — a story of vibrant beginnings and graceful endings.
After dedicating five decades to print publishing and photojournalism, primarily in newspapers, I've embarked on a captivating journey to capture the vibrancy of Wisconsin's nature and the enchanting beauty of its woodlands and prairies through the lens of fine art photography and paintography.
